The Bible is our final authority for faith and conduct. (II Timothy 3:16-17; II Peter 1:20-21; Psalms 19:7-11; Psalm 119)
There is One sovereign God Who eternally exists as three co-equal persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Daniel 4:34-35; Matthew 3:16-17; John 1:1; Genesis 1: 1- 2)
We were all created for loving relationship with God, but have become totally sinful and separated from God and unable in any way to please God or restore relationship with Him. (Romans 3:10-12; 3:23; 5:12; 6:23; Revelation 4:11; Genesis 1-3)
A restored relationship with God is possible solely by God's grace through Jesus, God Himself, Who became a man without ceasing to be God in order that by His substitutional death on the cross and resurrection from the dead, we might have forgiveness of sins and eternal life in Him. (Ephesians 2:8-9; II Corinthians 5:21; Romans 6:23; Mark 10:45)
God, the Holy Spirit, is the One Who draws us into relationship with God, convicting us of our sinfulness and convincing us of the Good News of God's grace towards us in Jesus. Our lives are to be lived under His power and control. (John 6:44; 16:7-11; Ephesians 5:18; Romans 8:1-16)
Our necessary personal response leading to salvation is repentance regarding our sinfulness and faith in Jesus' person and work on our behalf, demonstrated by good works intended for His glory. (Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 10:6-10; Luke 5:32; Acts 16:31)
In the future bodily resurrection of all people; those who repent and believe in Jesus will experience eternal loving relationship with God in a new heaven and new earth. Those who reject Jesus, will experience eternal separation from God and torment in the lake of fire with Satan and his angels. (I Corinthians 15:50-57; Revelation 19:11-22:19)
The church is the ³called-out" people of God whose common bond is Jesus; and that the church functions through the power and gifting of the Holy Spirit. The church exists to glorify God in the world. (Ephesians 2:19-22; I Corinthians 10:31; 12-14; Romans 11:33-36)
In the importance of baptism, teaching, fellowship, prayer and the breaking of bread for the maturity and multiplication of God's people. (Acts 2:38-47; Matthew 28:18-20)
In the reality of the spiritual world, both good and evil. That there is a spiritual conflict continually being carried on against God and His church by Satan and his fellow fallen angels. That we are to be good soldiers of Jesus and stand firm in the battle through Christ Who has defeated Satan. (Ephesians 6:10-18; II Timothy 2:3-4; Colossians 2:13-15)
