Our last tea tasting on November 15th, Chai-licious, was a wonderful evening exploring India. We shared a large table and tried different blends of Chai in the professional tea tasting cups, and others steamed by our local Chaiwallah, Rocky. He practiced the amazing technique of the Chaiwallahs of India, who pour the Chai by raising the teapot high above their heads and with great finesse and skill pour the Chai into little cups without spilling a drop. You can still hear the calls of "Chai-ee, Chai-ee," resounding when you come in and order a Chai. Thank you for participating and supporting our tea tasting events. The times together have been absolutely wonderful!
You will be thrilled to know that our next event will be a Coffee Cupping session. The last 2 weeks Rocky has roasted over 70 pounds of coffee. He has also been studying hard to prepare a presentation that will explore the culture and science of the coffee bean. A date has not been set but we will let everyone know the plans in advance. So begin developing your palate to professionally cup coffee!
