Hope in Christ Teen Night
Teen Night began at The Coffee Oasis on the first Friday evening of September 1997.
Teen Night is a weekly, Friday night, 8pm-11pm drop-in time providing a fun, safe, caring atmosphere for street- oriented young people ages 12-24. It comes complete with free food (generously provided by local churches), contemporary Christian music, and a variety of games (e.g. pool, ping pong, foosball, air hockey, board games) to enjoy while hanging out and building relationships with one another and our wonderful, volunteer, adult Christian staff.
What began years ago with about 4 youth coming from "smokers' corner" across the street from Bremerton High School to check it out has seen hundreds of youth pass through over the past years. Some just come to check out the action. Many make it their regular Friday night place to be.
